Our Mission

The Odebolt Arthur Education Foundation is established to enhance effective partnerships among the school, individuals, alumni, businesses, and community to enrich education in the Odebolt-Arthur School and to provide innovative learning opportunities for teachers, staff and students. 

Our Purpose

The foundation’s purpose is to support and encourage academic growth among the students and staff of the District.  This foundation will strive to develop a community of supporters who work together to acquire resources to enhance learning for the students, school, educators, and organizations within the District.  The Odebolt Arthur Education Foundation goal is to foster educational innovation and excellence for students by funding initiatives that may fall outside the school budget, including scholarships.

Our Background

The Odebolt Arthur Education Foundation was created in 2008 as an affiliate of the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation.  A tax-exempt non-profit organization, it is governed by a Board of Directors and is independent from the School Board.  By partnering with the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation, a qualified community foundation, donors have access to Endow Iowa Tax Credits.
